We need to add a helpful member to our growing team of farmers in Haiku. We are a mixed regenerative agriculture farm with an emphasis on agroforestry, raising livestock, and market gardening. We are ideally looking for someone that has an interest in helping provide the local community with organically grown produce while tending to the land and soil.
Past experience in landscaping/agriculture and farm animals is a plus.
This is a part time position with 2 scheduled work days during the week. One day with a focus on landscape/maintenance and the other harvesting/packing.
You will be required to work 8am- 5pm with one hour of unpaid lunch break. If you are interested in the position reach out and let us know your availability through the application.
Requirements:
Required to lift 50 lbs produce bins
Ability to operate weed-whacker and mower
Must have reliable transportation to and from Haiku
Ability to do physical work under varying weather conditions
Good communications skills
You will be responsible for…
Harvesting seasonal produce when required
Maintain the grounds as required
Helping with daily animal tasks and fence maintenance
